Mood Pictures is a new company on the scene based out of Hungary. Even though they have not started selling videos at their site yet, they sent me an early copy of their first video for review. I figured that even though the video will not go on sale until later this month, I would go ahead and review the video because it was very well done.

The video is set in the Soviet era when the secret police were able to use whatever methods they desired to extract information from political prisoners. As the video opens we see a man reminiscing about the good old days when the secret police were able to cane women to get information or confessions from them. The scene then cuts to a barren white room with only a table. A male and female guard then bring a brunette in. A male secret police officer is there and he orders the woman to strip. The prisoner is a nice looking woman in her early 20's with a lean body. After the woman has stripped the two guards tie her to the table and the caning begins.

The caning consists of 50 hard strokes that move along at a decent pace. The woman does pretty well for the first half of the caning, but you can tell that she is having difficulty getting through the second half. There are not a lot of tears, but she is definitely crying. Although she doesn't struggle, she does shift around a lot and lunge forward after some of the nastier strokes. Two stationary cameras are used to record the action. One is focuses on the woman's bottom and the other records her face and entire body from a side angle.

Bonus features on the DVD version include a short interview with the woman and previews for two upcoming videos. The interview is only about a minute in length with the first half consisting of the woman being questioned as to what she is expecting and if she is afraid of the upcoming caning. The second half was shot after the caning and the woman answers a couple of questions as to what she thought of it. The previews are for "Ancient Regime Part 2" and "Rival Girls". Both look very promising.

Tori Sinclair who co-starred in "Vicious Whips and Bloody Canes", one of the hardest F/M spanking videos of all time, returns playing the pissed off girlfriend in this feature. For those who haven't seen Tori before, she is a beautiful, classy looking woman who can swing a paddle and cane like few others. The boyfriend in "Time Out for Bad Behavior" is played by Lance Joyhansen. Lance is in his late 30's, handsome, and in good shape.

The action begins almost immediately when Lance comes home late after spending time at a strip club. Tori begins by spanking him with her hand over his slacks but quickly places him in the OTK position and lets loose on his bare bottom with a couple of different wooden paddles. After the paddling Tori strips down to her bra and panties and has Lance strip nude. Unfortunately for Lance, Tori finds a box of cigarettes in his pocket after he had supposedly quit smoking. For this he is bent over the couch and gets spanked by hand, with a strap, and with a hairbrush. Lance is then blindfolded so that he doesn't get to enjoy seeing Tori nude. He does get to enjoy a crop, wooden cooking spoon, strap, and paddle in a very long spanking sequence though.

After the first punishment is over, Lance is sent to the couch to spend the night. Tori comes out of the bedroom in a playful mood and catches him looking at a porno magazine. What follows is a very long and very hard corporal punishment. In addition to most of the implements being used again, the cane makes it's first appearance. I didn't count the number of strokes but I estimate Lance got about 50 all together.

"Volume 10" from Far East sticks pretty close to the formula that we have come to expect from them. In the first chapter of the video we are introduced to Angelica, a 27 year old blonde from England. Angelica is quized about her spanking and sexual history before Joseph Lewis takes her over his knee for the main event. The first spanking segment is by hand and it begins over Angelica's red dress. After a few minutes the spanking progresses to her just wearing a thong and a few minutes later to the bare bottom. Joe starts off slow but builds up in speed and intensity rather quickly. Watching Angelica's face, it seems as though this is a bit more than she was expecting. Her bottom bears out that she is new to spanking as her fair skin turns a bright red very quickly. The mood throughout the hand spanking is fun and playful even though Angelica is clearly feeling the sting.

After about 16 minutes of hand spanking, Joe puts a ball gag in Angelica's mouth and brings out a hairbrush. I was really amazed at both the intensity and the number of strokes Angelica gets. This isn't a quick 20 swats with the hairbrush. Angelica gets well over 100 swats and none of them are light taps. She also struggles some getting her hand hit with the hairbrush in the process. After the hairbrush Angelica does a short segment masturbating with a dildo before placing it inside herself and going back over Joe's lap for some more hand spanking.

"Rosaleen's Diary" is a period fantasy piece set in 19th century England as far as I could tell. The set-up is that Rosaleen is to spend the holidays with her Aunt. Soon after arriving at her aunt's estate Rosaleen disrobes and takes a bath, in the process showing off her hot little body. Her Aunt Elizabeth takes this opportunity to spy through the door and apparently likes what she sees. Aunt Elizabeth is played by Sarah Lewis, a late 30's brunette.

The first spanking scene is a dream that Aunt Elizabeth has. In it Elizabeth is topless and Rosaleen is in the bathtub wearing a cotton top and panties. Elizabeth has Rosaleen kneel on all fours and gives her a light, erotic spanking by hand. She also takes time to frequently apply more water to Rosaleen's bottom. This was a very sexually charged scene and will be enjoyed by those who like spankings on wet panties.

Poor Elizabeth desperately wants to spank Rosaleen for real but can't come up with an excuse. Aunt Elizabeth's friend Earl Grey enters the scene and makes a suggestion. Mr. Grey, by the way, is a very distinguished looking gentleman who appears to be in his 40's. Next thing we see Elizabeth is bent over Earl's lap getting a hand spanking on her thong clad bottom. Rosaleen comes to investigate and ends up falling into the room. I guess this gives Elizabeth all the excuse she needs to punish Rosaleen. In the very next scene we see Rosaleen over Elizabeth's lap getting a hand spanking on her blue ruffled panties and then on her bare bottom as Earl Grey looks on. The hairbrush is then brought into play before Rosaleen is sent out to the yard to get a birch rod.

When Rosaleen returns from getting the birch she is taken over both of their knees for a double hand spanking. Picture in picture is used here to show both Rosaleen's bottom and her face. Unfortunately the lighting on her face is a bit on the dark side, so it is not a very good view. After the hand spanking Rosaleen is forced to strip and is then made to kneel on a chair for a very sweet birching. Aunt Elizabeth also gets her due. She is made to lift her dress and grab her ankles for twelve good strokes with the cane. Rosaleen steps in to take her Aunt's final twelve strokes. The first six are given by Earl Grey and the final eight by Elizabeth. I was a bit suprised by the ferocity of the six strokes Elizabeth dished out. The birching and caning up to this point had been moderately hard but Elizabeth really layed the strokes on to end Rosaleen's punishment. The video ends with Elizabeth rubbing lotion on Rosaleen's bottom.

"Housemother's Discipline 4" is one of Red Board's older titles. While some of the older Red Board videos are pretty good, this one is a dissapointment. The action takes place in an art gallery where a student named Sheri is displaying some of her work. Miss Eleanor, the housemother or the girl's dorm where Sheri lives, is unhappy with the nature of Sheri's project and decides to spank Sheri until she reveals who helped her with the project. About half of Sheri's OTK hand spanking is on her ruffled panties and the other half on her bare bottom. Sheri has a very small bottom that just begs to be spanked. Unfortunately for the viewer, the woman playing Miss Eleanor doesn't know much about spanking and delivers a very poor performance.

When Sheri finally breaks revealing that a fellow student named Karen was involved in the art project, Sheri is sent to fetch Karen. Karen has a really bad 1980's look to her and tries to act as though she is being turned on by the hand spanking that she gets. Unfortunately she is not that skilled an actress. Sheri also attempts to spank Karen but does little more than tap her on the butt.

The second scene of the video is nothing to write home about either. In it Miss Eleanor hand spanks an asian woman named Nancy for looking at dirty pictures. The whole scene is OTK and Nancy slowly strips down to her underwear during it.

There really isn't a story with this video, it is more of a session that was video taped. Jamie Gillis, who has been making spanking videos for almost as long as Ed Lee, handles all of the discipline in this one. The first sub to make an appearance is Katie Welch. Katie is a 20-something red head with a nice thin figure. The first part of the session consists of hand spanking in a variety of positions. The cane is used in between hand spankings but all Jamie really does is just tap around with it. After the lengthy hand spanking segment Jamie pulls off his belt and uses it on Katie in a wide variety of positions.

Around 25 minutes into the video a black woman named Jasmine comes wandering in. She lightly spanks Katie for a minute or two before bending over for a belting from Jamie Gillis. Jasmine is an average looking woman and has a large butt for those who like big butts. In the action that follows everyone spanks everyone else including Jasmine belting Jamie Gillis in his tighty whities briefly. Forty minutes into the video Katie takes off and Jasmine is left alone to get belted by Jamie. Numerous positions follow as Jasmine is spanked on both her butt and her thighs.

Detention House II is supposedly a sequel to an old Rigid East detention movie which was set, like most of their early stuff, incongruously, on domestic premises, a far cry from the studio facilities now available to Lupus films - a glance at their web page reveals not only the huge sets in use but optical, lighting and sound equipment of the highest calibre. Something else the web page will confirm is that this movie is not billed as featuring corporal punishment. Although there is some whacking with a perforated board that is more of an incidental than a feature. This is a "women in prison" story pandering to the prurience of those with an interest in the indignities women in such a situation must suffer (as much in the USA, as it happens, as under some backward women-hating regime east of Suez).

The detention house is headed by a Mother Superior, suggesting a connection with the Church, but it goes somewhat further than Peter Mullen’s Magdalene Sisters, which reveals the horrors of the Irish Church laundries in which wayward girls were incarcerated as late as 1996. As the Vatican denounced that production as a "rancorous provocation", God, and perhaps the Pope, only knows what they would say about Detention House II. The nude scene in Sisters where the inmates were taunted by two nuns, is mirrored in this Lupus production by the inspection of the girls’ "private" parts which itself follows a prurient interrogation, delivered by an ageing governor/headmaster type, regarding their habits, to discover whether the condition of the said parts is due to excessive masturbation, rape or loose living.

All of this, and the subsequent chastisement, takes place with all four girls trussed in what some call the "diaper" position, each with their wrists and ankles attached by straps to the bed-heads, like "oven-ready" fowl tastefully prepared for the urban masses to consume at Christmas or Thanksgiving.

Everything is in sharp focus and very well lit presenting the viewer with the dilemma of which rear end he would choose, given the happy opportunity, to "kiss better" after the whackings.

The film finishes with the girls’ offending parts being smeared with a supposedly caustic cream intended to keep their minds on the parts while at the same time their wrists remain attached to the bed-heads to keep their hands off them.
